Fractal Burned 3 Drawer Maple

This 3 drawer log box is made from a solid piece of Maple wood. The green filled markings throughout the piece are from a process called Fractal wood burning. It's where I electrocuted the piece of wood to create the burn marks that look like lightning all over the piece. I then cleaned out the charred sections and filled it with a neon green colored resin to really make it pop. The piece has been coated in Danish Oil finish, which soaks into the wood and hardens it from the inside out so you should never have to worry about doing anything to it and just enjoy its beauty over the years.
