Pine 8 Drawer Necklace Box

This lovely log box was made from a large log of Pine wood and has 8 different drawers. Seven of which are on the front of the piece and the 8th is a large drawer that comes out of the right side of the piece to reveal a place to hang necklaces, bracelets or dangle earrings on 11 different hooks within the drawer. The green streaks throughout the piece are where natural splits/ holes were in the wood that I then filled in with a green colored resin to help give it back some structural strength and a fun pop of color. I left all 8 drawers UN-lined because I felt that the grain patterns inside the drawers were too beautiful to cover up. The piece has been coated in Danish Oil finish, which soaks into the wood and hardens it from the inside out so you should never have to worry about doing anything to it and just enjoy its beauty over the years.
